Debt repayment fintech Clerkie raises $33M in Series A

The Women In The Know Series provides a container for you to reflect, learn, and engage around meaningful topics at the intersection of career growth and personal development. Most of us have participated in professional seminars that focus on our role in the workplace without acknowledging the myriad factors outside of work that  inform our reality. Now, more than ever, we know that no woman is an island in her cubicle (or on her laptop sitting at the kitchen table). When we go to work, whether we want to or not, we bring our whole selves. Rather than asking us to compartmentalize our identities, the Women In The Know series welcomes integration and awareness to promote deeper authenticity and fulfillment in our everyday work lives.

Starting with the way we relate to and care for ourselves, then moving outward to self advocacy, and finally, difficult interactions, the workshop series unfolds cumulatively building on themes of self-compassion, risk taking, and resilience. Each seminar stands alone and works together in the series context.

The workshops will take place over zoom, but the conversation is already underway. Visit the series hub: bit.ly/womenintheknowseries to connect with resources and join the discussion.

KNOW YOURSELF
Care for yourself in the way you need to be cared for.

In this workshop we will discuss strategies and perspectives around tending to the self. “Self-care” has become a buzzword over the last several years - but it's time to cultivate our own definition of the term beyond the idea of bubble baths and face masks. How do we take care of ourselves while we're working? How do we balance the demands of career and home in an era when the two areas are inextricably intertwined? Through the frameworks of self-awareness, self-talk, and self-care, we’ll establish a foundation for the remainder of the series.
